ASCS Frontier Back At Belgrade, Big Sky Speedway

Kicking off the month of August with a Montana double, the ASCS Frontier Region will return to Gallatin Speedway on Friday, Aug. 2, and Big Sky Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The tour’s third visit to Gallatin Speedway in 2024, Oregon’s Tyler Thompson has been undefeated so far at the 3/8-mile oval. The same can be said for Big Sky Speedway, which saw Thompson in Victory Lane in the tour’s only visit so far in June.

On top in four out of the five features contested so far this season, Thompson leads the ASCS Frontier Region by 95 markers over Kelly Miller, who picked up a pair of wins over the weekend with the ASCS Northern Plains Region in Wyoming. Phil Dietz holds third, with Trever Kirkland and Joe Perry making up the top five. The only driver so far this season to deny Thompson a win is Rich Bailey, who won in the tour’s last outing at Electric City Speedway.
