TULSA, Okla. (April 11, 2011) – The Sunoco Fuel ASCS Canyon Region event that was rained out Saturday night, April 9, at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, AZ, has been rescheduled for Friday night, April 29.
The raindate of April 29 will now make for two full nights of wingless Sunoco Fuel ASCS Canyon Region competition at Canyon Speedway Park, as the series was already slated to be there the following night, April 30.
The Sunoco Fuel ASCS Canyon Region lifted the lid on the 2011 season with R.J. Johnson in USA Raceway victory lane on March 12 and then Jeremy Sherman victorious at Canyon Speedway Park two weeks later. Sherman, the series champion in 2007 and 2008, is out to the early lead in the championship points chase.
