The American Sprint Car Series is already putting big plans in place for the 2026 season with a return to Belleville High Banks for the second annual Big One.
Belleville, KS will again host the top 360 Sprint Car drivers in the nation for two straight nights, Friday-Saturday, June 26-27, as the Series and track continue to build The Big One into a marquee event.
“Bringing the American Sprint Car Series back to Belleville for the first time since 2015 this year was another step in our efforts to grow the Series and now, we’re excited to take that even further as we continue to work with Belleville to build The Big One into a new marquee event for 360 Sprint Car racing,” ASCS Series Director Lonnie Wheatley said.
Five-time ASCS National Tour champion Sam Hafertepe Jr. swept the weekend at Belleville this year, but 2023 Series champion Jason Martin, and Matt Covington didn’t make it easy on him the first night as the three drivers traded slide jobs each corner of the high-banked 1/2-mile track, giving fans, and drivers, one of the best races of the season.
“I’m glad we could do that for the fans tonight,” Hafertepe said after the race. “That was pretty awesome.”
