Arrowhead Speedway will welcome back the American Sprint Car Series National Tour for the Green Country 50 doubleheader in September.

It’ll be the National Tour’s second trip to the state-of-the-art dirt track this year, Friday-Saturday, Sept. 13-14, after a barnburner race in June.

Seth Bergman, Sam Hafertepe Jr. and Jason Martin gave Oklahoma fans a wild 30 laps. Bergman led most of the race but was hunted every lap by Hafertepe and Martin. Hafertepe threw a few sliders at Bergman’s No. 23 car but couldn’t complete the pass.

A slip off the cushion on the final lap caused Hafertepe to hit the wall and take Martin with him. That let Bergman run away with the victory in the state he now calls home and see Hank Davis score a runner-up finish – currently best finish of the season.

Now fans can enjoy two nights of that racing action with heightened pressure as there will only be 10 races to determine the 2024 champion after the weekend – a battle currently being contested by Bergman and Hafertepe.
