Wayne Johnson is a staple of the American Sprint Car Series since he won his first and only Series title in 2000.
He joined the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series full-time in 2020, winning the year's Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Award.
On top of winning the 2000 championship with the ASCS National Tour, Johnson is a two-time 360 Knoxville Nationals champion and has the most top-five finishes in the event with eight total. Johnson has racked up 59 Feature wins, fourth-most on the all-time wins list.
Since Johnson announced his retirement from racing in 2024, he has stayed with the Two-C Racing squad as the Crew Chief for current World of Outlaws racer Cole Macedo.
