SAPULPA, Okla. (November 2, 2015) Blake Hahn’s second year on the road with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network saw definite improvement.

Placing 10th in his 2014 rookie season, Hahn improved that season ending rank to sixth in the Lucas Oil / CSR Garage No. 52. Along with a more consistent season of racing, Blake’s 2015 run included five wins across several disciplines of Open Wheel racing.

“I’m happy about our season. We got the opportunity to run several types of cars and I’m already looking forward to next year,” commented Hahn. “2016 will be our third full year with the ASCS National Tour and we’re setting our goals higher. The highlight of the year was picking up a National Tour win this year, and we look to add more next year.”

Hahn’s first of five wins on the season came in the ECOtec Midgets at the 30th annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout. The win brought his Golden Driller count to six overall. Blake followed that up with back-to-back wins with the Southern Trailer Works ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Griffith Truck and Equipment at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park on March 27 and Battleground Speedway on March 28.

Blake’s fourth win came at the Salina Highbanks Speedway on June 6. His first with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, Hahn scored another first on August 20 when he bested the USAC Southwest Series in their annual Freedom Tour at Creek County Speedway.

Looking into the 2016 season, Hahn will take on the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, and will again be a part of the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Midget Nationals presented by General Tire for Hard Eight Racing. Making the cut on Saturday night in 2015, Blake is the first Hahn to make the finale of the Chili Bowl Nationals.

While the team prepares for 2016, the 2015 season is not quite over for the Blake Hahn who’s hoping to channel his Non-Wing success in Oklahoma with a day’s journey to the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, N.M. for the inaugural $10,000 to win Richard Griffin Classic, happening Thursday, November 5 through Saturday, November 7.

“Las Cruces is one of my favorite tracks and I’m excited to see what it races like without the wings,” said Hahn. “Originally we were going to race Magnolia this weekend, but their forecast is looking pretty rough and after we saw the Richard Griffin Classic was three-day non-wing with a clear forecast, we decided to head to the Desert.”

Live coverage of the Richard Griffin Classic can be found online at http://www.speedshifttv.com. Live online PPV coverage can be purchased for $19.95 per day or $49 for the full show.
