ASCS Red River Headlining At Superbowl Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (August 23, 2016) Superbowl Speedway is next on the 2016 lineup for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products. Slated for Saturday, August 27, the Texas showdown is the 15th round of competition in the chase to the 2016 championship.

Last in action at the Greenville, Texas oval on July 16, the night was topped by Arkansas’ Tim Crawley with Kevin Ramey and Ray Allen Kulhanek chasing the No. 88 to the finish.

Going into this Saturday’s ASCS Red River Region event, Tennessee’s Brandon Hanks holds a 168 point advantage over defending series champion, Kade Morton with Fred Mattox, Jake Greider, and Mickey Walker making up the top-five in tour standings.

So far this season,11 drivers have found their way to Victory Lane with 129 overall having taken a competitive green flag. Point’s leader, Brandon Hanks, is tied with Sam Hafertepe, Jr. and Wayne Johnson at the top of the win chart this season with each at a pair of wins.

Saturday, August 27 at Superbowl Speedway opens at 6:00 P.M. with racing getting underway at 8:00 P.M. Along with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, the night’s lineup will also include Southern Topless Modifieds, Street Stocks, Limiteds, Junior Limiteds, and 305cid Bombers.
