The Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire is back in action on Thursday, September 17, with the $ 5,000-to-win Battle of the Blue Ribbon.
A highbanked three-eighths-mile clay oval built in 2007, the track has hosted some of the very best in Sprint Car racing. An MSTS event in 2025, the win went to Jack Dover. Back under ASCS for the first time since 2024, when the National Tour rolled into town, Arron Reutzel emerged victorious.
Down to the final three rounds of the 2026 season, including this Thursday night, Missouri’s Jack Thomas holds the series points lead by 132 over Nebraska’s Joey Danley, with Colorado’s Jake Bubak in third. Chase Brown and Bret Klabunde made up the top five.
Presented by DeBerg Concrete, the annual open-wheel showdown on Thursday night takes place during the Clay County Fair starting at 7:00 P.M. (CDT) and includes IMCA divisions (Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks, and Sport Compacts). Admission is $30 for adults, with kids 12 and under admitted for $15. Pits are $40.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
