Making the charge from sixth to first Friday night, Nebraska’s Chase Brown captured the evening’s $2,000 winner’s check at U.S. 36 Raceway with the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire.
Brown’s third outing with the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region presented by Hoosier Tire in 2026, this brings him to two wins in the season, having dominated the tour’s June 5 stop at Boone County.
Getting the lead late in the proceedings, Brown was the third driver to lead during the 25-lap feature event, with the first 15 paced by Cam Sorrels before contact with the wall relegated him to a DNF.
Next to Jack Thomas, who had made the run from seventh, the current series points leader held sway over the next five revolutions, but could not keep Brown at bay, and settled for runner-up honors. Stu Snyder crossed third, with Jake Bubak and Joey Danley making up the top-five.
Up next is Thayer County Speedway on August 2.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
