Back in action this Friday, July 17, the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region, presented by Hoosier Tire, heads to the high-banked, three-eights-mile oval of U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., for $2,000 to win, $400 to start.
Last seeing ASCS action in July, 2022, the National Tour was in town with the night’s 25-lap A-Feature ending with Missouri’s Gunnar Ramey capturing his first career ASCS National Tour victory over California’s Corey Day and Iowa’s Riley Goodno. The night was co-sanctioned with the former ASCS Warrior Region.
Looking to this Friday, the Malvern Bank ASCS Midwest Region, presented by Hoosier Tire, headlines the Shawna Dye Memorial, which includes E-Mods, USRA Stock Cars, and IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars.
Jack Thomas leads tour standings going into Friday night by 48 over Joey Danley, with Garrett Benson in third. Billy Alley and Jake Bubak make up the top five. In five events to date, 69 drivers have taken part in at least one round of competition.
Friday, July 17, opens at 5:00 P.M. with cars on track at 7:20 P.M. (CDT). General Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, and free for kids 12 and under. Pits are $40 for all ages.
