The American Sprint Car Series’ busiest stretch is on the horizon, comprised of some of the biggest 360 Sprint Car races of the year.
Journeying across multiple landscapes, the National Tour’s August stretch will include trips to premier stops, including the “Land of 1,000 Lakes, “The Sprint Car Capital of the World,” for one of the most prestigious events of the season, Arkansas to crown a king, and the Mountain States for a Frontier Speedweek.
Let’s take a look at what’s down the road:
Viking Speedway | Rock On Trucks Gopher State 360 Sprint Car Challenge (Aug. 1): Alexandria, MN’s Viking Speedway is the first of two tracks in August to make its debut with the American Sprint Car Series in 2026.

Riverside International Speedway | King of the Ditch II (Aug. 22): Nestled 12 miles northwest of the home of “The King of Rock,” Riverside International Speedway will crown a new king in August with the American Sprint Car Series.
The West Memphis, AR, facility joined the slate for the first time in 1995 and has evolved into the oldest active ASCS track from “The Natural State,” hosting 35 races in total. The first King of the Ditch ran unsanctioned in 2025, but returns in 2026 with ASCS on deck. When the Series last visited Riverside in 2024, multi-time 360 Sprint Car champion Derek Hagar swept the two nights at the 1/4-mile bullring.

The first-time date also brings Series competitors to the “Cowboy State” for the first time since 2018 in the end-of-summer competition. When the Frontier Region visited the facility in 2025, Zach Blurton and Kelly Miller left with victories between the two days.
The Series will close out the Frontier Speedweek in September with stops at Gallatin Speedway, Friday, Sept. 4, and Electric City Speedway for the Montana Roundup, Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 5-6.
