The return of ASCS sanctioned competition to the Ark-La-Tex Speedway for the first time since 2023, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints will head for the Louisiana oval on Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16.
Two previous visits in Winged and Non-Wing action, the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series made their only visit to Ark-La-Tex in 2013 with Washington’s Logan Forler ripped the lip to capture his second career National Tour victory during Speedweek competition.
Taking the wings off with the former ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series ten-years later, Cody Gardner topped the field of 21 drivers.
The debut event for the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints at Ark-La-Tex Speedway, Mother Nature has allowed only one other show so far in 2026 with Cody Gardner capturing the win on April 11 at Jackson Motor Speedway.
Both nights include Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, B-Mods, Tuners, Sportsters, and Rookie Sportsters. Both nights open at 4:00 P.M. with Hot Laps at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $40 with discounts for youth.

The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
