It’s the start of a new era for the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints. The 2026 season brings a full slate of races and new leadership under former series champion, Lane Whittington, and defending tour champion, Jake Brashier.
On taking over the series, Jake stated, “It’s an honor to take over the series. I’ll still be racing full time, but I’m committed to making this the best it can be, for the drivers, teams, and fans.”
Brashier and Whittington are assembling a team of officials to run and coordinate events. Updates on who will fill these roles will be posted when finalized. The pair would like to thank Tate Construction and TK Construction for their support in helping make the 2026 season possible.
Looking at a 21-race lineup for the 2026 season, with other dates in the works, the tour currently covers nine tracks across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, running from April through October.
Tracks and teams needing information about the series can email brashiermotorsports@gmail.com or call (225) 614-1318.
The 2026 season marks the 35th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
