Miller Leads The Way in Rapid City With ASCS Northern Plains

Keeping his name in Victory Lane with the American Sprint Car Series, Canada’s Kelly Miller made the trek to Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D. on Friday night and added an eighth win to his total with the ASCS Northern Plains Region.

Brought back in 2022, the series’ all-time winner is Chuck Swenson with nine wins. While Miller leads the list of current era winners, he is now on the cusp of being the leading overall winner in yet another regional series.

Bringing his win total to six on the season, Miller made it to the line ahead of Colorado’s Adam Trimble, with Arizona’s Elijah Gile in tow. D.J. Brink made the charge from 13th to fourth with Blayne Brink in fifth.

The series heads for Gillette Thunder Speedway on Saturday, July 5.

The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
