Kelly Miller Grabs ASCS Frontier Opener At Big Sky Speedway

Picking up where he left off in 2024, Canada’s Kelly Miller captured the ASCS Frontier Region season opening victory at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont. Friday night. 

The third time Miller has won the season opening event with the ASCS Frontier Region, the triumph marks the 15th time he has topped he series.

Taking off from third, the opening Laps were traded by Damon McCune and Hari White with Miller overtaking the No. 17w on Lap 6. White would hold on for second, followed by Garen Linder in third. Kory Wermling and Joe Perry completed the top five.

The series is back at Big Sky Speedway on Saturday, followed by Sheridan Speedway on Sunday.

Big Sky Speedway is located on Hwy. 87 North, Mile Marker 16, just outside Billings, Mont. For more information on the three-eighths-mile oval, log onto the track’s website or call (406) 696-8661. Sheridan Speedway, and will also feature WISSOTA Street Stock, IMCA Modified, and WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Tickets are $25 with kids $12 and under free into the grandstands. Sheridan Speedway is located at 69 Industrial Lane.

The 2025 season marks the 34th season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes several regional tours, along with cooperating tracks and events throughout the United States.
