Ready to lift the lid on the 13th season of competition, the ASCS Frontier Region goes big to kick off the 2025 lineup of events with three nights of action in Montana and Wyoming.
Starting just north of Billings, Mont., on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, Big Sky Speedway is the site of the 2025 opener, followed by a quick jaunt to Wyoming’s Sheridan Speedway on Sunday, May 18.
While on the schedule numerous times to start at the three-eighths-mile oval, weather makes this the fourth time since 2013 the series has opened its season at Big Sky Speedway. A look back at the 2024 opener saw Oregon’s Tyler Thompson in victory lane during the weather-shortened weekend.
Canada’s Kelly Miller is the only driver to win the season-opening race twice, doing so at Billings in 2023 and Rapid City Speedway in 2018
