Up Next: Lucas Oil ASCS at Black Hills Speedway

RAPID CITY, S.D. (July 23, 2015) From the short three-eighths mile speedway in Gillette, Wyo. the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network heads to the sweeping half-mile Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D. for a Friday night under the lights.

The series third trip to the Black Hills Speedway, Daryn Pittman topped action on August 8, 1998 in the first Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event held in the Mount Rushmore State. It would be 16 years before Brad Loyet added his name to the list of winners on July 18, 2014, marking Loyet’s third win of the 2014 season.

The 2014 visit saw 27 drivers checking in. Making his first start at the South Dakota oval was Aaron Reutzel, who came from 14 to third. Currently leading the National Tour into the July 24 showdown, Reutzel looks to build on his advantage in the 2015 tour standings.

Friday, July 24 will see gates open at 5:30 P.M. with racing getting underway at 7:35 P.M. (MT). Admission is $25 for adults with kids ages six and under admitted free of charge into the grandstands.
