TUCSON, Ariz. (August 21, 2010) – Dalten Gabbard made the most of his winged Sprint Car debut by racing to victory lane in Saturday night’s 25-lap American Sprint Car Series Southwest Region feature event at USA Raceway.
A rookie contender with the wingless ASCS Canyon Region, the 17-year-old donned wings for the first time and charged past R.J. Johnson for the lead on the ninth circuit en route to victory lane aboard the Arizona Heat Trucking No. 77d.

| Williams Wins His First ASCS Main at USA! |
TUCSON, Ariz. (July 17, 2010) – Joshua Williams snared his first career American Sprint Car Series feature win by racing to victory lane in Saturday night’s 25-lap ASCS Southwest main event at USA Raceway.
The 21-year-old raced to the checkered flag aboard the Borello-powered Diamond Mechanical No. 41 Ellis in front of J.T. Imperial, with Steve Stone, current series points leader Rick Ziehl and Kyle Sager rounding out the top five.

| All Hail Hodges in Regional Clash at Aztec |
AZTEC, N.M. (June 5, 2010) – Fifteen-year-old Joshua Hodges reigned supreme in the second night of American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain vs. Southwest Regional action by racing to victory lane in Saturday night’s 25-lap feature event at Aztec Speedway.
After leading the initial circuits, the Tijeras, NM, teen battled back in front on the 20th round en route to capturing his second career ASCS Regional win aboard the Wesmar-powered Benic Enterprises/Napa Auto Parts No. 74x Maxim.

AZTEC, N.M. (June 4, 2010) – Rick Ziehl picked off his second American Sprint Car Series Regional win of the year by topping Friday night’s 25-lap ASCS Rocky Mountain vs. ASCS Southwest main event at Aztec Speedway.
Hailing from Las Cruces, NM, the two-time and reigning ASCS Southwest champion outlasted 15-year-old Tijeras, NM, racer Joshua Hodges for top honors on the opening leg of the two-night Aztec stand with Patrick Bourke, Bud Goodwin and Josh Grady rounding out the top five.

| Herrera Hustles Up ASCS Southwest Win at CSP! |
PEORIA, Ariz. (May 22, 2010) – Johnny Herrera picked off his second American Sprint Car Series Southwest feature win of the season by reaching victory lane in the return of winged Sprint Cars to Canyon Speedway Park on Saturday night.
The winner of the last winged feature atop the Peoria clay more than four years ago, Herrera took advantage of a late caution to take the top spot in Saturday night’s 25-lapper aboard the familiar No. 45x Maxim.

| Gaston Garners Southwest Glory at USA! |
TUCSON, Ariz. (April 24, 2010) – John Gaston overcame the prevailing mayhem in Saturday night’s 25-lap American Sprint Car Series Southwest Region main event to take top honors at USA Raceway.
Gaston took command in the final handful of circuits when J.T. Imperial cut a left rear tire and went on to post his second career ASCS Southwest feature win aboard the Gaerte-powered Kronik Energy No. 22j Maxim, vaulting from fourth to first in the championship points race in the process.

| Hollywood Herrera Stars at USA |
TUCSON, Ariz. (April 3, 2010) – Johnny Herrera dropped in on the ASCS Southwest Region at USA Raceway on Saturday night with familiar results by racing to victory lane in the evening’s nightcap.
While two-time and defending series champion Rick Ziehl set the early pace, Herrera took command following a restart and charged to the checkered flag unabated for the sixth time in as many ASCS Southwest starts over the past two seasons.
Herrera was chased to the line by Ziehl, John Carney II, Joshua Hodges and Calvin Landis.

TUCSON, Ariz. (March 20, 2010) – Two-time and defending American Sprint Car Series Southwest Region champion Rick Ziehl kicked off the 2010 season by winning Saturday night’s main event at USA Raceway.
Ziehl was chased to the line by Calvin Landis, with R.J. Johnson, John Gaston and Kaylene Verville rounding out the top five.

| 2010 Membership Registrations Available |
TULSA, Okla. (January 28, 2010) – Another action-packed year of American Sprint Car Series competition is just around the corner. And with that, 2010 Driver Registration forms are now available at www.ascsracing.com.
Drivers planning on competing with the American Sprint Car Series in 2010 can register for just $150.
Drivers do not have to be ASCS members to compete in ASCS sanctioned events, however drivers must be members to be eligible for contingency awards and year-end point fund monies and to be covered under the series' insurance policy.
Crew members may join as well for just $100. Membership for drivers and crew members also assures a pit pass price of no more than $30 at any Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters event or any ASCS Regional event.

After we receive your information and you have become a member for 2010, your profile will be added to the Website's "Driver Profile" page for all to view throughout the season.
