| Wayne Johnson Pockets $14.5K in Laney Memorial! |
TAMPA, Fla. (February 27, 2010) – Pennsylvania’s Tim Shaffer was oh so close to completing a sweep of the season-opening American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region triple in “Kings” action at East Bay Raceway Park’s 34th Annual Winter Nationals.
But, when Shaffer’s engine soured less than two laps shy of Saturday night’s checkered flag, it was Oklahoma City native Wayne Johnson taking quick advantage to snare the $14,500 winner’s share in the 40-lap Ninth Annual Ronald Laney Memorial atop the semi-banked, 1/3-mile clay oval.
Johnson paced the final two circuits to take the coveted checkered flag aboard Glenn Styres’ Ohsweken Speedway/Rochester Americans No. 0x entry, collecting his 32nd career overall ASCS win in the process.

TAMPA, Fla. (February 26, 2010) – Tim Shaffer made it two wins in as many nights of “Kings” competition at East Bay Raceway Park’s 34th Annual Winter Nationals by charging to the winner’s circle in Friday night’s 25-lap American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region preliminary main event.
The veteran Aliquippa, PA, hotshoe solidly established himself as a favorite for Saturday night’s $14,500 to win Ninth Annual Ronald Laney Memorial with his second win in a row aboard the Kistler-powered C&H Motorsports No. 83 J&J.

TAMPA, Fla. (February 25, 2010) – Tim Shaffer kicked off the “Kings” portion of East Bay Raceway Park’s 34th Annual Winter Nationals by racing to victory lane in Thursday night’s 25-lap American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region preliminary main event.
Working forward from the seventh starting position, the Aliquippa, PA, shoe took the lead away from Canadian Lou Kennedy, Jr., on the 18th round en route to snaring just his second career overall ASCS feature win.

(February 23, 2010) – The American Sprint Car Series lifts the lid on an action-packed 2010 season of approximately 200 events with this weekend’s ASCS Rebel action at East Bay Raceway Park’s 34th Annual Winter Nationals. The three-night stand in Tampa, FL, concludes with Saturday’s $10,000-to-win Ninth Annual Ronald Laney Memorial on Saturday night.
And, set to defend his crown in the season opener, is Warsaw, Missouri’s Jesse Hockett, who became the ninth different winner of East Bay’s “Kings” portion of the Winter Nationals by storming to victory lane last year. |

| Rebel Go at Hendry County is Cancelled |
TULSA, Okla. (February 11, 2010) – Due to unforeseen circumstances, ASCS Rebel Region officials and track management at Clewiston, Florida’s Hendry County Motorsports Park have agreed to cancel the event originally scheduled for Saturday night, February 20.
With the cancellation, the ASCS Rebel Region will now launch the 2010 American Sprint Car Series season at East Bay Raceway Park’s 34th Annual Winter Nationals in Tampa, FL, on February 25-27, with the February 27 winner of the Ninth Annual Ronald Laney Memorial collecting a $10,000 winner’s share. |

TULSA, Okla. (December 26, 2009) - The ASCS Rebel Region got "Hammered" in 2009, as Sarasota, Florida's Danny "The Hammer" Martin raced to the series championship.
Martin, Jr., won the season opener in East Bay's Winter Nationals preliminary action and never looked back en route to taking the top ASCS Rebel Region spot by 68 markers over Matt Kurtz, with Bob Auld, Aubrey Black and Brian Maddox rounding out the top five. |

| Godwin Rules Rebel Season Finale at East Bay |
TAMPA, Fla. (November 14, 2009) – Tyler Godwin put the finishing touches on the 2009 American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region campaign by racing to victory lane in Saturday night's 25-lap season finale atop the 1/3-mile East Bay Raceway Park clay oval.
While Godwin became the seventh different series feature winner of the year in as many events, Danny Martin, Jr., secured the ASCS Rebel Region championship with a third-place showing aboard the Martin Structures No. 00 Shaw.

| 2010 Membership Registration Forms Available |
TULSA, Okla. (January 28, 2010) – Another action-packed year of American Sprint Car Series competition is just around the corner. And with that, 2010 Driver Registration forms are now available at www.ascsracing.com.
Drivers planning on competing with the American Sprint Car Series in 2010 can register for just $150.
Drivers do not have to be ASCS members to compete in ASCS sanctioned events, however drivers must be members to be eligible for contingency awards and year-end point fund monies and to be covered under the series' insurance policy.
Crew members may join as well for just $100. Membership for drivers and crew members also assures a pit pass price of no more than $30 at any Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters event or any ASCS Regional event.
