Lake Ozark Date also Secured TULSA, Okla. (December 15, 2008) – With the 2009 schedule for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters still a work in progress, another handful of dates have been added to the much anticipated tour.
The Lucas Oil Sprint Car Series will invade the Northwest portion of the country over a pair of weekends in July, marking the first events contested in Oregon and Washington in ASCS National Tour history. |

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (December 12, 2008) - For the second time in his career, Jason Johnson of Eunice, Louisiana, was voted the “Driver of the Year” by the North American 360 Sprint Car Poll voting panel of media members, promoters, sanctioning officials and manufacturers.
Johnson led a three-way ASCS sweep of the top three positions in voting with Gary Wright in second and Wayne Johnson in third.
Jason Johnson’s car owners, Al and Lanny Row of Greenville, Texas, will also receive the 2008 “Team of the Year” award for their second time.

TULSA, Okla. (November 26, 2008) – While the 2008 season for the American Sprint Car Series was officially logged into the record books with the final Regional event of the season on November 15, activity in preparation for the 2009 season has been feverish for several months already.
And, while the 2009 schedule for the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filters is still a work in progress, a preliminary "sneak preview" of the 2009 slate was released from the series' Tulsa office today. |

TULSA, Okla. (November 24, 2008) – The American Sprint Car Series staggering growth and popularity continued as the sanctioning body set new marks over the course of 2008, its 17th year of activity.
With a dozen Regional series in addition to the O'Reilly ASCoT National Tour, the ASCS logged a record total of 205 nights of competition into the books in 2008 with an additional 37 nights lost to inclement weather.
Reeling in the lion's share of victory loot and headlines was Louisiana's Jason Johnson, who picked off eleven National Tour wins en route to his first $50,000 ASCS National championship. |

| Berryman Takes Top ASCS Gulf South Accolades |
TULSA, Okla. (November 18, 2008) – Brandon Berryman received championship accolades for the second year in a row as the American Sprint Car Series Gulf South Region's Seventh Annual Awards Banquet took place at the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles, LA, on Saturday night.
The Missouri City, TX, racer rebounded from an early season deficit to nip veteran contenders Greg Rilat and Gary Watson for the title, with just 18 markers separating the top three in final points as Berryman became the series' first back-to-back champion since Kelly Angelette took the initial pair of Gulf South championships in 2002 and 2003.

TULSA, Okla. (November 16, 2008) – More than $200,000 in cash and contingencies was doled out Saturday night as the American Sprint Car Series National Tour/Sooner Region Awards Banquet took place at the Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, OK.
Jason Johnson picked up his first $50,000 ASCS National championship, while Brian McClelland received top ASCS Sooner Region honors for the second year in a row.

| Allen Sports Victory Honors in Rebel Season Finale |
TAMPA, Fla. (November 15, 2008) – The American Sprint Car Series Rebel Region brought the curtain down on the 2008 ASCS season with Sport Allen earning his first Rebel win in Saturday night's 25-lap feature at East Bay Raceway Park.
Allen took command after early leader Aaron Ott ran afoul of lapped traffic en route to taking the checkered flag in front of Matt Tiffany, Danny Martin, Jr., Tyler Godwin and Frank Beck III.
Kenny Adams secured the ASCS Rebel Region championship with a sixth-place run.

| 2008 Membership Registration Forms Available |
TULSA, Okla. (January 23, 2008) – With the dawn of another exciting year of American Sprint Car Series racing action once again upon us, 2008 Driver Registration forms are now available at www.ascsracing.com.
Drivers planning on competing with the American Sprint Car Series in 2008 can register for just $150.
Drivers do not have to be ASCS members to compete in ASCS sanctioned events, however drivers must be members to be eligible for contingency awards and year-end point fund monies and to be covered under the series' insurance policy.
Crew members may join as well for just $100. Membership for drivers and crew members also assures a pit pass price of no more than $25 at any ASCS event.
